OBSTETRICAL CARE
As soon as you know you are pregnant, please call the office to schedule your first prenatal care appointment. You will be seen 8-10 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period. Your first appointment is usually 45 minutes and involves a complete physical exam; subsequent prenatal care visits are 15 minutes. We welcome the presence and involvement of partners at any and all visits. You will be seen once each month until your 28th week of pregnancy, every two weeks until your 36th, and then weekly until your baby is born. We are happy to provide you with information on prenatal classes, pediatrician referrals, and will gladly complete all disability forms when you stop working.
